Redirect (Cloaking) Code

 

Download this zip file and save it to your hard drive.

Extract it and open redirect.php in a text editor (not Word and not Wordpad)

Replace "copyandpasteyouraffiliatelinkhere" with your full affiliate link

Save the file

Rename it to something like "productname.php" where product name is the product name

Upload it to your website

Create a hyperlink to http://www.yoursite.com/productname.php where productname.php is whatever file name you chose

Test it!

Registering a Domain Name

 

Don't pay more than $10 for your domain

And don't load up with addons when you're making your purchase. You don't need 'em.

• Domain Tools is good for basic research
• Google Keyword Tool is better for finding keywords to consider for your domain name but it's more time consuming
• GoDaddy - cheap domains and their Bulk Register tool tells you quickly what's available
• NameCheap is another low cost domain provider

 

Web Hosting Vendors

 

As you saw in the video training, you want a host with:

• Linux Apache MySql PHP (LAMP) and ideally PHP 5
• Cpanel with Fantastico
• Unlimited pop3 emails
• Unlimited mysql databases (on the same server)
